Mike Brown finally got back on track with a win over Nam Phan at UFC 133 after having lost back-to-back bouts.
“I think it’s a bit of bad luck. I have a lot of good strong positions and I hit hard, so I have the ability to finish people, but sometimes they don’t always go that way,” he told MMAWeekly Radio Weekend Edition when discussing being a former WEC champion and now struggling as a UFC contender.
Ultimate Fighter alum Rich Attonito joined us to talk about his time on the reality series and his latest UFC victory, and Dan Cramer talks about fighting for Bellator and taking a step outside of his normal weight class for his next fight.
We also broke down Sunday night’s UFC on Versus 5, whether or not Dan Hardy should stick around the Octagon, and also about Chris Lytle and some of the other outstanding performances in Milwaukee.
Last but most certainly not least, we talked about Shawn Tompkins, one of the more prominent coaches in mixed martial arts, who passed away over the weekend, dedicating the show to his memory.
