With names like Cris Cyborg and Gina Carano currently out of action, new Strikeforce women’s 135lb champion Miesha Tate is excited to have a new title wrapped around her waist, but she’s not jumping the gun on what kind of fame that might bring her.

Being called the ‘face of women’s MMA’ is something Tate will leave up to the fans and the media to decide, but she’s happy to play whatever role she needs to show the best the women can produce.
