by Damon Martin – MMAWeekly.com Spending time in Germany growing up taught Kris McCray how to speak the native tongue, and he’ll get the chance to show that off as the 11th season “Ultimate Fighter” runner-up will head to Deutschland on Nov 13 for UFC 122 as he faces Brazilian Carlos Eduardo Rocha in a welterweight bout on the card.

The fight was confirmed to MMAWeekly.com by sources close to the fight on Thursday, with verbal agreements in place for the match-up.

Dropping from 185lbs to 170 for his first fight after the reality show finale, Kris McCray (5-1) looks to build on the tough-as-nails demeanor he established during his time on the “Ultimate Fighter”. Prior to the show, McCray had been undefeated, but came up short in the finale against former housemate Court McGee.

Now down at a more natural weight, McCray will look to unleash on his opponent in German, and get back on a winning track.

Opposing McCray in Germany will be UFC newcomer Carlos Eduardo Rocha who brings with him a perfect 8-0 record. Rocha has actually spent much of his career fighting in Germany, so his inclusion on the UFC 122 card makes perfect sense.

A submission specialist, Rocha trains out of Darcio Lira Jiu-Jitsu in Brazil, and hopes to keep his undefeated record in tact when he faces McCray in November.

The bout between McCray and Rocha will likely serve as part of the untelevised undercard for the show that will air in the United States via same day tape delay on Nov 13.
