Matt Brown Now Faces Luis Ramos at UFC on FX 4

Former Ultimate Fighter competitor Matt Brown has agreed to step in and face Luis Ramos at UFC on FX 4 coming up on June 22 in Atlantic City.

Brown replaces fellow former TUF athlete Matt Riddle, who is now out of the fight for undisclosed reasons.

The Ohio native announced the fight via Twitter on Wednesday.

“Just signed and sent bout agreement to fight Luis Ramos June 22nd in Atlantic City,” wrote Brown.

Brown will be looking for his third win in a row after picking up a big knockout over Chris Cope in February, and then putting on an epic fight with Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson.

A back and forth affair throughout, Brown got the best of Thompson and picked up a unanimous decision win and now looks to make it three in a row when he faces Ramos in June.

Ramos has only appeared in the UFC once thus far and it was a short trip to the Octagon as he was finished by fellow Brazilian Erick Silva in only 40 seconds. He’ll try to erase that memory as he faces Brown in June.
