Two UFC newcomers will get debut at the UFC on Fuel TV 1 show in Omaha, Neb., next month as Anton Kuivanen takes on Justin Salas.

UFC officials announced the match-up on Monday.

Kuivanen was originally slated to face fellow rookie C.J. Keith, but on the same day he received his UFC contract, tragedy struck close to home and so Keith will wait for another shot in the Octagon later in 2012.

Meanwhile, Anton Kuivanen remains on the card coming to the UFC with a 16-4 record, fighting out of Finland. A winner of nine fights in a row, Kuivanen debuts in one of the toughest weight classes in the sport against a fellow newcomer.

Justin Salas makes his UFC debut after picking up a win in his most recent fight over fellow prospect Joe Ellenberger, brother of UFC welterweight Jake Ellenberger.

Salas comes in with a 9-3 record overall, a winner of five fights in a row, and also has a victory over former UFC fighter Rob Emerson.

Kuivanen and Salas meet at UFC on Fuel TV 1 as part of the undercard mostly likely to air on Facebook.
