At UFC 43, Couture defeated Liddell to become the new UFC World Light Heavyweight Champion. Nearly a year later at UFC 52, Liddell captured the title and at the same time became the only man ever to knock out Randy Couture. Both fighters are now looking to settle the score and prove, once and for all, who will become the best light heavyweight in UFC history.

Liddell (17-3-0), fighting out of San Luis Obispo, Calif., is a devastating striker with an incredible takedown defense. He is the reigning UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. Liddell has knocked out his last four opponents including Couture, long-time rival Tito Ortiz, Vernon White and most recently, Jeremy Horn, at UFC 54. He plans to continue his knockout streak against Couture and prove he is the best Light Heavyweight in the world.

Couture (14-7-0), fighting out of Gresham, Ore., is a two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion and a two-time UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and the only fighter to have held both belts. He is a world class wrestler with brutal ground-and-pound skills, a formidable combination that helped him defeat high-profile fighters including Liddell, Ortiz, Vitor Belfort, Pedro Rizzo and Maurice Smith. Couture submitted Mike Van Arsdale with a third round choke at UFC 54 and now is ready to face Liddell and regain the UFC Light Heavyweight belt.
