Along with MMA action overseas and a major boxing match-up in Las Vegas, this weekend will feature a two-event back-to-back slate for King of the Cage with shows in California and Canada.

The first event, “Final Conflict,” will be on Friday, December 2nd taking place at the Saboba Casino in San Jacinto, California. It will feature a rematch of a hotly contested bout that took place in 2004 between KOTC Welterweight Champion James Fanshier and Thomas “Wildman” Denny.

The first fight ended in a controversial split-decision which gave Fanshier, also the Gladiator Challenge 170lb Champ, the KOTC title. James is on a six-fight winning streak and was most recently seen cornering Jamie Jara at KOTC’s “Execution Day” PPV earlier this month. Denny has won nine of his last ten bouts with the only loss being that to Fanshier last year.

On Saturday, December 3rd, KOTC will be returning to Canada for “Evolution” taking place at the Stampede Corral in Calgary, Alberta. The show will feature UFC veterans Ron Jhun and Bill “The Butcher” Mahood in separate bouts.

Also on the Calgary show there will be a mass of up and coming talent including Team Quest’s Chris Wilson and Ian Loveland, Ryan Diaz and Blake Fredrickson of Gibson Pankration, and Ashe Bowman and Joe Martin of Ken Shamrocks’ reformed Lion’s Den. Representatives from Miletich Fighing Systems, Joe Doerksen’s camp, and Team Hughes will also be in action.
