A lightweight bout between prospects Kevin Lee and Jon Tuck has been added to the lineup for UFC 178, officials announced on Thursday.
The Lee-Tuck showdown adds to the developing fight card, which takes place in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand on Sept. 27.
Lee (8-1) picked up his first UFC win in his last outing, edging out a split decision over Jesse Ronson at the recent TUF 19 Finale. The fight got him back in the win column after dropping his first career loss, a unanimous decision to Al Iaquinta at UFC 169.
Tuck (8-1) is also coming into the fight off a win, which was a technical knockout of Jake Lindsey at UFC Fight Night Albuquerque. The fighter known as “Super Saiyan” is 2-1 in the Octagon.
UFC 178 is scheduled to be headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between champion Jon Jones and challenger Daniel Cormier.
