Kevin Holland headed to surgery for injury suffered at UFC Orlando

Following Saturday’s loss to Stephen Thompson in the UFC Orlando main event, Kevin Holland said that he thought he suffered a broken hand.

“Trailblazer” did in fact break in hand in the fight with Thompson and will require surgery to repair the damage. Holland’s manager Oren Hodak confirmed the injury and impending surgery to ESPN MMA.

“Kevin Holland will need surgery after breaking bones in his right hand Saturday night against Stephen Thompson, Holland’s manager Oren Hodak told @marcraimondi,” Tweeted ESPN MMA.

Holland lost via TKO after his corner stopped the fight after the fourth round.
