Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor Winner Joins Ronda Rousey on UFC 2 Video Game Cover

Not only is the undisputed UFC featherweight championship on the line when Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor square off next week in Las Vegas, but so is the cover of the next edition of the official UFC video game.

Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor fight for video game coverElectronic Arts Inc. on Thursday announced Aldo and McGregor will fight for a spot opposite former UFC champion Ronda Rousey on the cover of EA SPORTS UFC 2.

EA SPORTS noted that this is the first time in its history that the winner of a real-world sporting event will get the opportunity to be included on a game’s cover. The cover will be revealed immediately after UFC 194: Aldo vs. McGregor concludes on Saturday, Dec. 12 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

“The main event at UFC 194 between Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor is without a doubt one of the most anticipated events in UFC history,” UFC President Dana White said. “Aldo and McGregor are two of the biggest stars in the world and it’s fitting that next Saturday night the winner not only becomes the undisputed UFC featherweight champion, but also the second global cover athlete of EA SPORTS UFC 2.”

EA SPORTS UFC 2 has a planned release date of Spring 2016.
