It appears Matt Brown will now face Seth Baczynski at UFC 139. Brown was originally slated to fight John Hathaway at UFC 138 in England, but Hathaway is injured and their bout has been removed from the fight card.
Brown made the announcement via his personal Twitter account on Monday.
“November 5th fight is off, Hathaway is injured,” Brown wrote.
The UFC later announced that former Ultimate Fighter competitor Seth Baczynski would step in and replace Hathaway. Baczynski just made his way back to the UFC, recently picking up a win over Clay Harvison in September.
Brown was himself a replacement for the UFC 138 card after Pascal Krauss was injured and unable to take the fight with Hathaway.
Brown and Baczynski will now meet on the UFC 139 fight card a week later in San Jose, Calif.
