Asbury Park, NJ – GHK Promotions recently presented Combat In The Cage: Evolutions IV. The card was filled with some of the Northeast’s best fighters and the crowd loved every minute of the action packed evening.

In the main event John Doyle (Team MFS/Daddis) put the Combat in the Cage Light-Heavyweight Championship on the line against Travis Roesler (Babylon Studios). Roesler displayed amazing ground skills, but was unable to secure the submission. After holding on for five long rounds, Doyle won via split decision.

Diego Jimenez (Adrenaline Gear/Julio Rodriquez ) applied a match ending rear naked choke to Fight Factory’s Steve McCabe at 1:55 of the first round. Anthony Montanaro (Pitts Penn) got rocked early with a nice flurry by Mike Schenk (Team Quiet Storm) but ended the match early with a near flawless guillotine at 2:04 of round 1.

John Carson (Hitman Fight Team) took the split decision against Team Tiger Schulmann’s Karate Radji Bryson-Barrett and Steve DeAngelis (Rhino Fight Team) lost to Tim Troxell (Evolution MMA) via rear naked choke at 1:35 of round 1.

Jon Murphy (Anthracite Combat Club) made Carlos Cline (Team Renzo Gracie ) tap out when he locked on a kneebar at 1:13 of round 3 and the referee stopped the match between Scott Malloy (Rhino Fight Team) and Dave Drago (Team Drago) declaring Malloy the victory.

Nissim Levy (Team Tiger Schulmann’s Karate) took the unanimous decision against Garrett Carmody (Pitts Penn) and Tinh Tupy (Jersey Shore BJJ) lost via unanimous decision to Zach McKowski (Fight Factory).
