UFC newcomer Joe Brammer will take Matt Veach’s spot to face Mark Bocek at the season ten finale of “The Ultimate Fighter.”

The heavyweight reality show finals are set for Dec. 5 in Las Vegas at the Pearl Theater at the Palms Resort and Casino.

MMAWeekly confirmed the bout Sunday via sources close to the fight as signed, sealed, and delivered.

Last week, Veach stepped into a co-main event bout with Frankie Edgar when Edgar’s original opponent, Kurt Pellegrino, was forced to withdraw with a back injury.

Brammer (7-0-1) recently signed a four-fight deal with the UFC after defending his Midwest Cage Championships title in September against WEC veteran Chris Mickle. He trains out of Des Moines Jiu-Jitsu and Des Moines MMA Academy, where he works alongside UFC veterans Josh Neer, Jeremy Stephens, and Kevin Burns.

To train for the bout, Brammer, nicknamed “The Southside Strangler,” will head west with Stephens to train at Throwdown Training Center, Alliance MMA, and Saulo Ribeiro’s University of Jiu-Jitsu.

Brammer vs. Bocek is expected for the event’s undercard. A light heavyweight bout between Matt Hamill and Jon Jones headlines.
