With just a few weeks remaining until the next Strikeforce show hits St. Louis on May 15, two more fights have been announced as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ace Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza takes on middleweight contender Joey Villasenor, while Roger Gracie makes his debut against former UFC fighter Kevin Randleman.

The middleweight division is currently seeking a top contender to either face Jake Shields in his next title defense, or if he bolts for the UFC another fighter to begin to fill that slot as the top dog in Strikeforce and the winner of Jacare and Villasenor may just fit that bill.

Souza made an impressive Strikeforce debut when he submitted former Olympian Matt Lindland in December. A former Dream fighter, Souza is gunning for the top of the division, but has a tough test ahead of him in Joey Villasenor.

One of the original fighters to work under Greg Jackson in New Mexico, Joey Villasenor is a winner of four fights in a row and considered a top contender in the middleweight division. Signing a new contract with Strikeforce a few months ago, Villasenor has been waiting for fight ever since and now he finally has an opponent.

Also on the card will be Abu Dhabi world champion submission artist, Roger Gracie who debuts for Strikeforce with only 2 pro MMA fights under his belt, but a wealth of grappling experience in his history. A member of the famed Gracie lineage in Jiu-Jitsu, Roger will hope to make his family proud when he debuts in Strikeforce.

Kevin Randleman will hope to rebuild himself with the fight against Gracie after dropping his last two fights in a row, and 4 out of his last 6 fights. An Ohio State Hall of Fame wrestler, Randleman has always been considered a dangerous fighter and he will try to give a rude welcome to the debuting Gracie in the Strikeforce cage.

Strikeforce on Showtime will hit the airwaves on May 15, with a heavyweight title fight between Alistair Overeem and Brett Rogers leading the way on the card.
