In the main event, Carla Esparza will face Claudia Gadelha for the Invicta strawweight belt, as the promotion continues to introduce titles into their fold.
Esparza was originally slated to face Ayaka Hamasaki for the belt, but the Japanese fighter has been removed for the show for unknown reasons.
Instead, Esparza will now face undefeated Brazilian fighter Claudia Gadelha for the new title on Jan 5.
In addition to the title fight, a bantamweight showdown has been confirmed by the promotion as well.
As first reported by MMAWeekly.com, Alexis Davis will look to tack another win on her record as she faces Shayna Baszler on the upcoming Invicta FC 4 card.
Also added to the show is a bout between Amanda Nunes and Sarah D’Alelio as well as Hiroko Yamanaka facing off against Ediane Gomes.
Joanne Calderwood takes on Bec Hyatt, and in her MMA debut Veronica Rothenhausler will take on Katalina Malangahu.
Leslie Smith is also expected to compete on the card, but her original opponent former Strikeforce women’s champion Sarah Kaufman suffered an injury and will be unable to fight on the Jan 5 show.
Tickets for Invicta FC 4 go on sale Monday, Nov 26 for the upcoming card at the Memorial Hall in Kansas City.
