Mark Hominick was upset this weekend at the TKO show in Montreal, as he was taken out by Shooto fighter Hatsu Hioki with just one second left in the second round.

Hioki, who is ranked the #2-ranked fighter in Shooto’s 143-pound weight class, submitted Hominick by sinking in a triangle choke.

Stephane Dube defeated Greg Compton by TKO at 0:55 of Round 1 in a brutal fight that looked like it was going to be stopped by the referee on two separate occasions.

Martin Desilets defeated Stephane Pinet by submission at 3:11 of Round 1 with a rear naked choke.

Fabio Holanda defeated Alvin Robinson by TKO at 1:30 of Round 2 in a back-and-forth Jiu-Jitsu clinic.

Damacio Page defeated Thierry Quenneville by KO at 1:02 of Round 1 when he slammed Quenneville’s head into the mat while escaping an armbar.

Chris Horodecki defeated Mike Bell by TKO at 2:33 of Round 2 thanks to superior ground skills that eventually led to unanswered ground and pound offense, forcing the referee to stop the fight.

Hatsu Hioki defeated Mark Hominick by submission at 4:59 of Round 2 with a triangle choke to become the new TKO World Featherweight Champion.
