UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker and Yoel Romero fought an epically brutal battle at UFC 225 on Saturday night in Chicago, but did the judges get it right?
Whittaker started the stronger of the two and hurt Romero in the second, landing a stiff jab that cause his eye to quickly swell shut.
Romero stormed back later in the fight, with Whittaker later admitting that he was rocked hard in both the fourth and the fifth rounds, and basically holding on to make it through the fight.
At the end of five full rounds, one judge scored the bout 48-47 for Romero, while the other two scored it 48-47 for Whittaker. Who made the right call?
