This Saturday night, Dan Henderson steps into the Pride ring to challenge Wanderlei Silva for his 205-pound title. Already holding the 185-pounds Pride belt, Henderson will try and become the first fighter in the organization to hold titles in two different weight classes at one time.

In an exclusive interview with MMAWeekly’s Scott Petersen, Henderson talked not only about facing Wanderlei, but fighting him in the U.S. on Henderson’s home turf. “It’s an ideal situation for me,” he commented. “I was surprised they were going to let me do it for a title.”

Considering that it is for a title, will Pride let him hold onto both belts if he does win? Henderson answered that question and discussed the difficulties of having to fluctuate in weight to fight in both weight divisions.

Henderson, who is currently the #6 Middleweight in the MMAWeekly Rankings, talked about how he expects the fight to go: “I go out there and I try to knock people out.” But Henderson also commented, “Both of us have shown that we don’t get knocked out easy.”

In this exclusive interview In The Cage on MMAWeekly TV, Henderson talks about all of this and much, much more as we countdown to Pride’s Second Coming.
