Another heavyweight battle has been added to UFC 135 in Denver with Travis Browne set to meet Rob Broughton on the Sept 24 card.
UFC officials announced the new bout on Wednesday.
Travis Browne (11-0-1) returns at UFC 135 after a thunderous knockout of 6’11” Stefan Struve just last month at UFC 130.
Now 2-0-1 in the UFC, Browne will look to make it to three wins in the Octagon when he faces another heavy handed heavyweight in Denver.
Rob Broughton (15-5-1) was originally scheduled to return to action at UFC 131 in Vancouver against UFC newcomer Dave Herman, but was yanked for the card and will now face Browne instead.
A knockout artist who trains out of the Wolfslair in England, Broughton is currently 1-0 in his UFC career, and will try to get a 2nd win facing Browne in Denver.
The bout between Browne and Broughton will be on the card, but it has not been announced if it will be a pay-per-view or preliminary bout on the show.
