Frankie Edgar vs. Jeremy Stephens, Several Other Bouts Revealed for UFC 205

UFC president Dana White confirmed on Wednesday a host of bouts for the promotion’s UFC 205 fight card slated for Nov. 12 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Chief among the bouts announced on UFC Tonight was a featherweight match-up pitting former lightweight champ Frankie Edgar against No. 7 ranked 145-pounder Jeremy Stephens.

Jeremy Stephens vs Frankie Edgar UFC 205Other fights revealed on UFC Tonight included a middleweight bout between Rafael Natal and Tim Boetsch, and Liz Carmouch making her return against Katlyn Chookagian in a women’s bantamweight match-up.

Aside from the three new bouts, White also confirmed previously reported match-ups that included Donald Cerrone vs. Kelvin Gastelum and Tim Kennedy vs. Rashad Evans.

Although he stopped short of confirming Tyron Woodley putting his welterweight belt on the line against Stephen Thompson, Woodley, an Fox Sports analyst who co-hosted Wednesday night’s show, guaranteed that the fight would happen. He said it was just a matter of ironing out a few final minor details.
