Just a month or so ago, it appeared that former world-champion boxer Floyd Mayweather was about to dive head-first into mixed martial arts, potentially lining up another “mega money” fight with Conor McGregor.

Mayweather’s most recent stance? He’s too busy to bother.

“I’m so busy, I got so many different things going on the outside (of fighting). You know, I really focus on my children,” said Mayweather in an interview with TMZ Sports.

“If you haven’t heard, I’m building the tallest building in New York City,” he continued, referring to his investment in the ONE Vanderbilt building.

He certainly left the door open, however, pointing out that he’s “only human.”

“Two weeks from now, you could do an interview with me, cause I can contradict myself, so two weeks from now, you could ask me the question and guess what I’m gonna say, I’m fighting in the MMA,” said Mayweather.

“And then two months from then, I’d say I’m not fighting in the MMA, I’m not fighting in boxing.”
