During the UFC 202: Diaz vs. McGregor 2 pre-fight press conference on Aug. 17, Nate Diaz abruptly walked off stage. As he walked through the crowd of onlookers shouting expletives and making obscene gestures toward McGregor, the two began hurling water bottles at each other.

On Thursday, the Nevada Athletic Commission handed Diaz his punishment for the incident.

Diaz has agreed to pay 2.5-percent of his fight purse ($50,000) and perform 50 hours of community service. He'll have to pay the fine before his next fight, or before Feb. 1, 2017, whichever occurs first. His community service must be performed before Dec. 1, 2017.
