M-1 Challenge held an event in St. Petersburg, Russia on Thursday night with notable fighters such as Aleksander Emelianenko, Amar Suloev and Roman Zentsov all coming out victorious in each of their respective bouts.

Aleksander Emelianenko, currently ranked No. 10 in the MMAWeekly.com heavyweight rankings, defeated Silvao Santos by TKO in the first round of their match-up.

Emelianenko has been splitting time between multiple organizations since the disappearance of Pride including bouts for M-1 and Canada’s Hardcore Fighting Championships.

Roman Zentsov pulled out a split decision win over Daniel Tabera after two five minute rounds, while Amar Suloev took out Jacek Buczko by punches and kicks in the first session.
