The Ultimate Fighting Championship on Monday announced the final bout for its upcoming UFC 83 event in Montreal. Ultimate Fighter veteran Ed Herman will face highly touted grappler Demian Maia.

Herman lost in the finals of season three of The Ultimate Fighter to Kendall Grove then dropped a bout to Jason MacDonald before running up a three-fight win streak. He defeated highly touted striker Scott Smith and then veteran fighter Joe Doerksen in his most recent performances.

The fight card for the UFC’s Canadian debut now stands at 11 bouts. Current UFC welterweight champion Matt Serra will face interim titleholder Georges St. Pierre in a unification bout in the main event at the 21,000-plus seat Bell Centre.
