Dream on Wednesday announced the opponent for Top 10 ranked lightweight Gesias “JZ” Cavalcante, and confirmed the withdrawal of Gegard Mousasi from its “Super Hulk” tournament.

Cavalcante (14-3-1) is currently on a two-fight skid. He lost to No. 2 ranked Shinya Aoki in April of 2008 before sitting out for more than a year and then losing to Tatsuya Kawajiri at Dream 9 in May of this year. He returns at Dream 11 on Oct. 6 to face Daisuke Nakamura.

Currently sporting a 20-10 record, Nakamura got back on the winning track with a unanimous decision over Ferrid Kheder at M-1: Breakthrough in August following a loss to Mitsuhiro Ishida earlier this year.

MMAWeekly.com first reported the withdrawal of Mousasi on Tuesday. One source indicated that the Armenian might have injured his shoulder in an exhibition match with teammate Fedor Emelianenko at M-1: Breakthrough.

Dream officials did not disclose the nature of Mousasi’s withdrawal.
