Dillashaw, Dodson, Pague and Brimage Join MMAWeekly Radio as TUF 14 Correspondents

September 22, 2011

The ‘Ultimate Fighter’ season 14 debuted on Wednesday night with 32 bantamweights and featherweights hoping to make their way onto the reality show and eventually into the UFC.

With a new season of the ‘Ultimate Fighter’, MMAWeekly Radio for the 8th straight year will welcome a new crop of correspondents who will join the show every Thursday to talk about the latest episode and the events that took place in the house.

The first correspondent to join the show this year is bantamweight up and comer T.J. Dillashaw, who was successful in his opening round fight, and also trains out of one of the best camps in the country.

Dillashaw, who wrestled at Cal-State Fullerton under coach and current middleweight contender Mark Munoz, now works with Team Alpha Male under the guidance of fighters such as Urijah Faber and Joseph Benavidez.

Also joining MMAWeekly Radio for season 14 will be Team Jackson-Winkeljohn fighter John ‘The Magician’ Dodson.

Dodson is an experienced fighter who has competed for the biggest part of his career at flyweight, but will go up to 135lbs for his chance to become the TUF 14 champion. Dodson has been working with Greg Jackson and Mike Winkeljohn at their camp in New Mexico for a decade now, so he brings a wealth of experience and apparently some pretty slick dance moves into the new season of the show.

Dustin Pague is the 3rd correspondent to join MMAWeekly Radio for season 14. Pague was a winner in his opening round bout over Tateki Matsuda, and currently trains out of Northern Virginia, where he is currently getting ready to open a school of his own.

Finally, American Top Team comes to MMAWeekly Radio for TUF 14 with featherweight Marcus Brimage, who rounds out the radio correspondents for this season.

Brimage is a heavy puncher originally from Alabama, but now trains with some of the best fighters in the world at the famous American Top Team facility in Florida.

MMAWeekly Radio is proud to add these latest fighters to the roster of TUF competitors that have been on the show in past seasons.

Previous TUF correspondents have included Roy Nelson, Brendan Schaub, Ryan Bader, Eliot Marshall, Mike Dolce, Matt Brown, Zach Davis, Lew Polley, Kyle Watson, Andy Main, Kyle Noke, Rich Attonito, Kris McCray, Santino DeFranco, and Efrain Escudero.
