Gracie Fight Championships returns on January 20th, albeit in a new location in Miami, Florida featuring fighters such as Nick Diaz, Frank Trigg, Mario Sperry, Wes Sims, Jake Shields, Renato “Charuto” Verissimo, and more.

Nick Diaz, fresh off of a win over Gleison Tibau at UFC 65 and ranked #9 in the MMAWeekly Welterweight Top Ten, will be facing Thomas “Wildman” Denny for the GFC Welterweight Championship.

Recently taking the ICON Middleweight belt from Jason Miller in Hawaii, Frank Trigg continues his comeback, stepping in to face undefeated fighter Ivan Jorge (5-0).

On a five-fight winning streak, Wes Sims looks to keep the streak alive against Brazilion Top Team’s Mario Sperry, who lost his last time out.

Jake Shields is also looking to keep his own five-fight streak alive against Charuto Verissimo, who is looking to return from back-to-back losses. Shields is the #6 Welterweight in the MMAWeekly Rankings.

The Gracie Fighting Championships event will air in the United States on InDemand and Dish Network pay-per-view.
