Current Tachi Palace Fights middleweight champion David ‘The Crow’ Loiseau will next defend his title on Aug 5 against Giva ‘The Arm Collector’ Santana.

Tachi Palace Fights officials confirmed the championship bout on Monday.

After flirting with retirement, David Loiseau got back to form when he first fought at Tachi Palace Fights defeating Leopolodo Serao by TKO in the 5th round of their title fight back in February.

It was a return to form for Loiseau who had been released from the UFC following a loss to Mario Miranda in June 2010. The Canadian has been a mainstay of the fight scene for many years, and now he’s looking to make a successful title defense.

Giva Santana will oppose Loiseau in August at the show titled ‘Let the Chips Fall’ where he will try to unseat the champion and go home with the Tachi Palace Fights middleweight belt.

Known for his devastating submissions, Santana has won 4 fights in a row overall and the only loss on his record comes by way of a split decision defeat to Jamie Jara in Elite XC from a few years back.

The title bout will co-headline the upcoming Tachi Palace Fights show along with the flyweight title fight expected between champion Darrell Montague and challenger Ian McCall.
