April 13, 2016

Former light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida and two-division PRIDE titleholder Dan Henderson were supposed to rematch in the UFC on FOX 19 co-main event in Tampa, Fla. on Saturday, but the fight was canceled on Wednesday after Machida was flagged for an anti-doping violation by the U.S. Anti-Doping agency.

As a result of Machida being pulled from the fight card, Henderson was left without an opponent three days before the event. He’s expected to be rebooked against another opponent on an upcoming fight card, but Henderson was not happy that he’s losing an expected payday.

Henderson reacted to the news via Twitter, posting, “P.O.S. – No respect.”

The fight card was originally slated to feature 13 fights. It will now feature 12. The women’s strawweight rematch between Rose Namajunas and Tecia Torres has been elevated to the co-main event.
