Cub Swanson Plans to Put His Title Hopes in the Hands of the Fans (UFC 162 Video)

Cub-Swanson-WEC-41-460x270UFC featherweight contender Cub Swanson takes on Dennis Siver on Saturday at UFC 162 and plans to put his title hopes in the hands of the fans if he wins.

Swanson (19-5) has put together a four-fight winning streak and is closing in on a title shot, but he won’t be calling anyone out following his UFC 162 bout.

“I’ve been really thinking about that a lot in my room and I feel like, if I get the opportunity, I’m going to let the fans decide,” said Swanson during the UFC 162 open workouts on Wednesday.  “I feel like my work speaks for itself.  I’m not the biggest media guy.  I just like to fight, and I try to let my work speak for itself.  When the fans are ready to see me fight for a title, or whoever they want to see me fight, than that’s what I need to do because it’s my job.”
