A change has been made to the upcoming WEC card in Columbus, OH as Bryan Caraway has been forced off the show with a knee injury. Stepping in to replace him will be Courtney Buck who will now face Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ace, Fredson Paixao in a featherweight contest.

The bout was confirmed to MMAWeekly.com on Wednesday evening by sources close to the fight.

Courtney Buck (6-2) made his WEC debut back in December on short notice and lost by TKO to Brandon Visher. The Minnesota based fighter took his first fight on only 4 days notice, and the WEC took stock of his willingness to step up and compete.

Now he’ll get a chance to redeem himself, still on short notice, but this time with three weeks to prepare for the challenge ahead.

MMAWeekly.com confirmed with sources close to Caraway that he was forced to withdraw from the fight with a knee injury, although at this time it’s unknown how long he will be sidelined. Caraway recently started working with Urijah Faber and his Team Alpha Male squad in Sacramento.
