World Extreme Cagefighting has announced several fights for its June 3rd card at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. The main card is scheduled to air live on Versus and marks the WEC’s debut on basic cable television.

In the main event, WEC Welterweight Champion Carlos Condit will defend his title against UFC veteran Brock Larson. Condit won the title with a submission victory over John Alessio at WEC 26. Larson is coming off a submission victory over Erik Apple on the same event.

WEC Featherweight Champion Urijah Faber defends his title against Total Combat veteran Chance Farrar. Faber defeated Dominic Cruz by submission at WEC 26. In his last fight, Farrar scored a knockout victory over Shad Smith at Total Combat 19.

In a rematch of their classic fight at WEC 23, Alex ‘The Russian Serdyukov takes on John Alessio. Serdyukov submitted Scott Norton at WEC 26, while Alessio is coming off the loss to Carlos Condit.

In a featherweight bout, Hardcore Gym fighter Micah Miller takes on King of the Cage veteran Cub Swanson. Both also fought on the WEC 26 event, Miller submitting Jesse Moreng and Swanson submitting Tommy Lee.

Although not confirmed by the WEC, Mark Hominick will make his WEC debut against Hero’s veteran Rani Yahira in a featherweight bout.
