The Cagewarriors Fighting Championships And The Wolfslair Academy Invite Fight Fans to “Enter The Wolfslair” On March 5th At The Olympia, Liverpool, UK

One of the Leading UK Mixed Martial Arts Organisations and their Pro Fight Team join forces to deliver a top night of Mixed Martial Arts/Cage Fighting action in the heart of North-West England, when Cagewarriors: Enter The Wolfslair makes its debut at the Olympia, Liverpool.

(Liverpool, UK) 31st January 2006 – The Cagewarriors Fighting Championships are proud to announce they will be following on from their successful 2005 campaign by adding another franchised show to run along side their already popular “Strike Force” and “Quest” series. The new show entitled Cagewarriors “Enter The Wolfslair” will take place on March 5th in Liverpool and will see Cagewarriors join forces with their Pro Fight Team the Wolfslair Academy as they unleash another exciting Cagewarriors franchise to their UK fan base

To make this show extra special Cagewarriors President Dougie Truman has organised an 8 man, number 1 contender Welterweight tournament in which the winner will automatically receive a CWFC Title shot at Strike Force 6 on May 27th at the Skydome Arena.. The tournament winner will face the winner of the Strike Force 5 Welterweight Title bout between Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy and Diego Gonzales on March 25th.

Already 6 top European based fighters have been confirmed for this Welterweight tournament, with 5 of them already champions in other organisations in and around Europe. The Cagewarriors matchmaking team hope to deliver the final 2 foreign based competitors within the next few days.

Hassan Muridi 6-2-0 (Wolfslair Academy) Wolfslair’s latest signing and Cage Rage veteran.

This night will also see 3 non-tournament fights which will feature the Wolfslair Academy’s own Tom Blackledge (in Heavyweight action) and their new rising young star Paul Kelly who is back home after participating in the UFC trials in London and Las Vegas in December.
