UFC 119 is only a few days away and UFC odds are that the
Spike TV portion of the event could feature two of the best fights. C.B. Dolloway takes on wily veteran Joe Doerksen while Meathead
Mitrione tries to climb the Heavyweight ladder against a very tough Joey

Event: UFC 119: Mir vs. Cro Cop

Date: September 25, 2010

Time: 9PM ET/6PM PT

Location: Conseco Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana

Broadcast: Spike TV

C.B. Dollaway (10-2): -350

Joe Doerksen (46-12): +250

The Ultimate Fighter 7 finalist C.B. Dolloway will try to up his record to 11-2 against a very
experienced Joe Doerksen on Saturday night. Surprisingly, Dollaway is a huge
UFC Odds favorite. Dollaway is a wrestler who possesses OK jiu-jitsu and has
decent hands. Five of his ten wins have come by way of knockout, proving that
he is more well-rounded than most give him credit for.

Joe Doerksen is the definition of an MMA veteran. He
has 58 fights to his credit and has more submission victories (33) than most
fighters have fights. Doerksen has been inside the Octagon with some of the
best (Matt Hughes, Nate Marquart, Ed Herman, Tom
Lawlor, Chris Leben and Patrick Cote). UFC odds are that he will draw upon this
experience in this fight. Doerksen is a true grappler who has tallied seven
victories in a row.

UFC Odds Outlook:

This fight is all about experience. Joe Doerksen has
as many losses as Dollaway has professional fights. Although Dolloway has won four of his last five fights, his
competition has been second or third class. Dollaway is prone to mistakes and
that plays right into Doerksen’s submission game.
Pick the huge UFC Odds upset.

UFC Odds Pick: Joe Doerksen +250

Matt Mitrione (2-0): -155

Joey Beltran (12-3): +125

It may seem strange but online betting odds indicate that the
Mitrione/Beltran fight just may be one on the most anticipated fight on the UFC
119 card. That’s right, Meathead is
a huge draw
! Mitrione takes his iron chin, his lethal leg kicks,
athleticism, heart, size and quickness into what figures to be the toughest
fight of his short MMA career. The question is – how much has he

Joe Beltran is no joke. He is a heavy
striker who has ten KO/TKO victories among his 12 overall. He has
a boxing background but has been working his jiu-jitsu, wrestling and Muay
Thai. The book on Beltran is that he comes out fast and furious with the hope
of ending his fights early. Beltran doesn’t have the best cardio, so he has to
hope for a quick finish against Meathead.

UFC Odds Outlook:

Matt Mitrione will simply need to weather Beltran’s
early storm in this fight. Meathead will have the size, strength and overall
toughness advantage in this fight. Word out of Mitrione’s

camp is that he is a quick learner and that his athleticism has translated well
to MMA. Meathead’s intense leg kicks and huge paws will wear Beltran down and
allow Mitrione to end this fight in the second round.

UFC Odds Pick: Matt Mitrione -155
