As Bellator Fighting Championships moves on to the seventh event in its season, the promotion has its first welterweight tournament finals set.

On Friday night at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Omar De La Cruz needed less than a round to best former UFC middleweight champion Dave Menne. In the evening’s other semi-final welterweight bout, Lyman Good scored the biggest win of his undefeated career, finishing Jorge Ortiz late in round two.

De La Cruz and Good will now meet in the first Bellator welterweight title bout.

Heavyweight Eddie Sanchez scored his first victory since leaving the UFC after a loss to Justin McCully. He wasted no time, finishing Jay White by TKO in just 10 seconds of the opening round.

The event will air on ESPN Deportes on Saturday night.
