Fedor Emelianenko blasted Frank Mir in the main event of Bellator 198 in Chicago on Saturday, as the former Pride FC champion knocked out the former UFC titleholder in the opening minute of the first round.

The Bellator 198 fight card was chock full of finishes, though all of the other winners opted for submissions.

Co-main eventer Emmanuel Sanchez kept his run toward a featherweight title shot moving full steam ahead with an impressive arm-triangle choke finish of UFC veteran Sam Sicilia. Sanchez started the hold standing before taking the fight to the canvas for the finish.

Brazilian Jiu-jitsu standout and Conor McGregor teammate Dillon Danis was impressive in his mixed martial arts debut, using his grappling prowess to finish Kyle Walker via a toehold.
