Auction to Benefit ‘Mighty’ Mia Hayes

September 23, 2011

She is one of the most inspirational fighters in MMA and has been a rallying call to those who are effected by cancer.

“Mighty” Mia Hayes fought for Tuff-n-uff MMA last year, despite having been diagnosed with stage four breast cancer in 2008. She had trained in martial arts for five years before the diagnosis and continued to find inspiration in it when she could muster the strength.

On top of this, she adopted three girls during her breast cancer treatment; making her mom to seven children.

Hayes was awarded the “Inspirational Fighter of the Year” by Tuff-n-uff this past July, and the Blackeye Promotions “Breast Cancer Beatdown” card has taken up her cause.

Now in conjunction with Tuff-N-Uff, an eBay auction is being held putting up the last ever canvas from Bodog Fights with all proceeds benefitting Mia Hayes in her current battle with cancer.
