UFC 203: Miocic vs. Overeem is set following the official early weigh-in on Friday morning in Cleveland.
Though there will still be a ceremonial weigh-in for fans at Quicken Loans Arena Friday afternoon, the early morning weigh-in was recorded by Ohio Athletic Commission staff and are the official weights of record.
There was little concern at the top end of the UFC 203 fight card, as the main and co-main events featured heavyweights.
Stipe Miocic tipped the scale at 246 pounds, making his first title defense official. He puts his UFC heavyweight belt on the line on his home turf of Cleveland against former K-1, Dream, and Strikeforce champion Alistair Overeem.
Overeem easily made weight at 248.5 pounds, but was a few minutes late getting to the weigh-in. As a result, he was fined $500 by the Ohio Athletic Commission.
The co-main event features former heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum vs. Travis Browne, as both men try to position themselves for a run at the title.

Much of the focus at UFC 203 has been on the MMA debut of former WWE superstar Phil “CM Punk” Brooks. Though there were lots of questions about his weight, he hit the welterweight mark at 170 pounds. His opponent, Mickey Gall, also had no trouble, weighing in at 170.5 pounds.
Preliminary card fighter Michael McBride, who stepped up on short notice, struggled on the scale, weighing 138 pounds for his bantamweight bout with Nik Lentz. Being two pounds over the 136-pound limit for a non-title fight cost him 20-percent of his fight purse, which goes to Lentz.
McBride stepped into the fight about a week out, after Lentz’s original opponent, Russian fighter Mairbek Taisumov, was denied a visa.
