Junie Browning was far and away the consensus Ultimate Fighter season eight bad boy, getting under everyone’s skin on the popular reality series. On Saturday night, he was far and away a much different fighter, submitting Dave Kaplan by armbar and apologizing to Frank Mir and his team of coaches.

At The Ultimate Fighter 8 Live Finale, he fought a tough battle with Kaplan for less than a round and a half, but it was enough for the UFC to award them the Ultimate Fighter 8 Fight of the Night. The award was accompanied by a $25,000 bonus.

MMAWeekly.com attained the The Ultimate Fighter 8 awards and bonuses from a UFC official on Saturday night.

After a controversial finish to their first meeting, Anthony Johnson left no doubts in his rematch with Kevin Burns on Saturday night. Training with Strikeforce champions Cung Le and Josh Thomson recently, Johnson nearly took Burns’ head off with a left kick to the head. Burns fell to the canvas, while Johnson walked away with The Ultimate Fighter 8 Knockout of the Night and an extra $25,000.

Searching for a home since the International Fight League folded, Krzysztof Soszynski may have found it. Although he exited the competition in the semi-final round, he re-established himself on Saturday night with a second round Kimura that left Shane Primm lying on the canvas in pain. The maneuver earned Soszynski The Ultimate Fighter 8 Submission of the Night and bonus.
