Canadian Yves Jabouin will drop down to the bantamweight division for his next fight where he faces Ian Loveland at UFC 134 in Brazil.
UFC officials announced the new bout on Saturday.
Jabouin will be in desperate need of a win as he travels to Brazil for his next fight. The Canadian striker never disappoints in the excitement category however, but has gone just 1-3 in his last four fights.
Following a submission loss to Pablo Garza at UFC 129, Jabouin opted to make the shift to 135lbs and try his hand there.
Welcoming the Canadian to the division will be Team Quest fighter Ian Loveland.
Loveland returns to action after a close fight with former WEC bantamweight contender Joseph Benavidez at UFC 128 in March.
Loveland kept it tight with Benavidez for all three rounds, but couldn’t close the deal. It was his first loss in 8 fights.
The bantamweights will fight on the UFC 134 undercard happening in Rio on August 27.
