Damon Martin and Jeff Cain broke the news on the air last night that Yves Edwards has been released from his contract by the Ultimate Fighting Championship. It had been highly speculated that he was going to be fighting up-and-comer Justin James at UFC 64, but that obviously isn’t happening.

Tonight, Friday night, Yves Edwards joins Martin and Cain LIVE on MMAWeekly Radio to talk about being released and what the future holds for him.

Also, Josh Barnett joins the boys to discuss his performance in the Pride Open Weight Grand Prix where he made it to the finals against eventual winner Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic. Barnett is also slated to fight Pawel Nastula at Pride’s American debut in Las Vegas, Nevada in October. Hear what he has to say about that matchup.

As always, the LIVE broadcast of the radio show is available FREE of charge at 6 pm PST / 9 pm EST at www.MMAWeeklyRadio.com.
