WSOF 12 Fighter Salaries: Elvis Mutapcic Tops The Payroll with $20,000

WSOF 12 Fight Poster-478x270The Nevada State Athletic Commission released the fighter earnings from World Series of Fighting 12 on Monday, which took place at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Aug. 9.

Elvis Mutapcic was the top earner on the nine-fight event, taking home $20,000.  The organization paid out $98,500 in fighter salaries.

WSOF 12 Fighter Salaries:

Luis Palomino – $18,000 ($9,000 show + $9,000 win bonus)
Lewis Gonzalez – $7,000
Ronny Markes – $16,000 ($8,000 show + $8,000 win bonus)
Cully Butterfield – $3,000
Elvis Mutapcic – $20,000 ($10,000 show + $10,000 win bonus)
Kevin Tiller – $5,000
Brandon Hempleman – $6,000 ($3,000 show + $3,000 win bonus)
Alexis Vila – $6,000
Matt Sayles $2,000 ($1,000 show + $1,000 win bonus)
Brenson Hansen –
Lucas Montoya – $2,000 ($1,000 show + $1,000 win bonus)
Jimmy Spicuzza – $2,000
Danny Davis Jr. – $2,000 ($1,000 show + $1,000 win bonus)
Jorge Lopez – $1,500
Adam Acquaviva – $2,000 ($1,000 show + $1,000 win bonus)

    Only $1000 for one professional fighter, only $10,000/$10,000 for the highest paid fighter on the card. Where is the outrage? Oh wait that’s reserved for the UFC who pays its entry level fighters almost as much as the highest paid fighter on this card.

    That’s just sad. Really.
    Like it or not WSOF is a big organization, has world-class fighters(not the best, I know, but they are indeed world-class) and that’s what they pay to fighters that can only fight 2-4 times per year.
