Press Release
LAKEMOOR, Ill. — Promoters rely heavily on the workhorses of the sport… fighters who will fight anybody, anytime, anywhere.

This Saturday, two of the Midwest’s best workhorses will face each other in the main event of XFO 14, which is being held at the Lakemoor Banquet Facility.

Travis Wiuff (42-9) and Jason Guida (15-15) will face off in a heavyweight battle to highlight a 14-bout card. Wiuff, from Rochester, Minn., has averaged just over 10 fights a year in his 5-year career, while Guida, from Chicago, has almost the same average with 30 bouts in three years.

“Both guys called looking to get fights in before Christmas,” said XFO co-promoter Dan Lardy. “We were happy to help and feel really good about this bout as our main event.”

Also scheduled is a 135-pound title fight between local standouts Mustafa Hussaini and Omar Choudhury.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the first bout at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the event start at $30 and are available by calling Curran Martial Arts at 815 356-0454.
