Most people didn’t believe Mirko Cro Cop could make the transition from K-1 to MMA. Cro Cop did answer the critics doing it flying colors as he was spectacular, especially at the beginning of the transition as he has only lost to MMA’s elite in Pride.

For every Cro Cop, there are plenty of Stephan Leko’s. K-1 fighters who have competed at the highest level of one martial art, only to fall short in the sport of MMA.

Some believe the man pictured above may be the next big thing in MMA but it’s too early to tell. Cung Le looked very impressive in his MMA debut at the Strikeforce card in San Jose a few weeks ago. Le put on a show as he dominated Mike Altman for almost four minutes before Le landed a striking assault and finished it with an amazing knockout.

The one question most people had about that fight was how Le’s ground game would be in the fight? After one round, that still is a question since Altman never attempted a takedown in the fight.

Le speaks to MMAWeekly TV about leaving one discipline of fighting for another in MMA and how he felt after his first professional MMA fight in San Jose. You can watch it right now on MMAWeekly TV.

Will Le be a major player in MMA? Does he want to fight more in mixed martial arts? Le tells all after his first professional fight on MMAWeekly TV. Check it out today from MMAWeekly.com.
