Undefeated Japanese fighter Rin Nakai has garnered more attention for her bizarre out of the cage videos than for the fights that she has won en route to a 16-0-1 record. And that record includes wins over the likes of Sarah D’Alelio, Tara LaRosa, Brenda Gonzalez, and other notables.

Nakai will step into the Octagon for the first time at Saturday’s UFC Japan to face former Strikeforce champion Miesha Tate. But first, check out her victory over Gonzalez at Pancrase 247, courtesy of UFC.com.

damn she sunk in the rear naked choke nicely.. it’s hard to defend when you bust your elbow hah hah hah, awesome judo throws by Rin, I think I got Rin on this one just wish she would be a little more agressive going for the TD maybe

Like a pit bull with a bone, she was not letting go of her back until she got the submission. Not exactly a thing of beauty, but a real solid performance. What happens to Tate if or when Nakai wins this fight?

Another misleading headline, what was “Bizarre” about that bout?

    • TheCerealKiller

The intro and lack of any action was bizarre. Just what WMMA needs, a boring fighter.

Nothing. It says ”…bizarre fighter’s bout” not ”…fighter’s bizarre bout”. The fighter herself is bizarre (for her out-of-cage videos), not the bout.

      Make sense now?

Awful… I have seen dances with more action.
