Keith Kizer, Executive Director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, on Tuesday released the results of post-fight tests for performance enhancers and drugs of abuse at WEC 44.
WEC 44 took place on Nov. 18 at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas and featured a featherweight title bout between Mike Brown and Jose Aldo. It drew an official attendance of 1,845 for a live gate of $131,200.
Nine athletes were tested: Brown, Aldo, Manny Gamburyan, Karen Darabedyan, Shane Roller, Kamal Shalorus, LC Davis, Ricardo Lamas, and Frank Gomez. All came back negative.
The WEC heads back to Las Vegas on Dec. 19 for WEC 45, featuring a lightweight headliner between Donald Cerrone and Ed Ratcliff.
