Nine fighters were drug tested by the Nevada State Athletic Commission following WEC 37, which took place on Dec. 3 in Las Vegas. All nine fighters returned negative results, indicating that they were clear of both drugs of abuse and performance enhancing substances.
NSAC Executive Director Keith Kizer announced the results on Tuesday.
The nine fighters tested were WEC bantamweight champion Miguel Torres, challenger Manny Tapia, Shane Roller, Cub Swanson, Bart Palaszewski, Johny Hendricks, Joseph Benavidez, Brian Bowles, and Wagnney Fabiano.
Kizer also stated that WEC 37 brought in total gate revenue of $90,125 based on 643 tickets sold and 290 tickets given away.
