See Ricco Rodriguez, Alex Steibling, ‘Tiger’ White, Gil Castillo, Jorge Oliveira, and Ambriz as they weigh-in. Some had an easier time weighing in than others. Alex Steibling came in weighing 12 pounds over and continued to work it of as he weighed in multiple times trying to make weight. Steibling made the comment that this always happens with him.
In other interesting news, Gil Castillo weighed in at 171 pounds, good for a Welterweight fight. The interesting part is that his opponent Steve Ramirez weighed in at 184, good for a Middleweight. Apparently, there was some confusion as to whether this was a Welterweight or a Middleweight fight to the fighters. Castillo needless to say was rather a little concerned as he had just dropped a lot of weight to be a Welterweight as his opponent had almost 15 pounds on him.
