Wanderlei Silva’s days in the Octagon are not done yet.

The former Pride champion and MMA legend has had his share of ups and downs over the last few years, but his career will continue in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

UFC president Dana White has been in talks with the Brazilian lately as they start to hammer out the details of his next bout inside the Octagon.

“Yeah, he’s going to fight again,” White said about Silva following the UFC 150 post fight press conference.

No details were revealed regarding any possible opponents or a timeline for his return, but Silva is definitely coming back for another fight.

Over the last few years, since moving to the UFC, Silva has gone 3-5 while putting on several Fight of the Night worthy performances.

Obviously, Silva has been through the wars in his career as a fighter, but he’s still got a few battles left and they will be in the UFC.

It is such a honor to watch this man fighting, I hope he KOs somebody next time like the old times.

Agreed with both statements, but I think it is getting dangerous for him to continue fighting. He has been KO’d a number of times and been in vicious wars, not to mention the unkown KO’s in the Chute Box Academy. Safety is the number one concern always.

  • After the Leben fight went so quickly I was not sure what to think of Wandy fighting but he hung in there with Ace for another great battle and he’s still on great shape. But who’s left for him at this point? I think Vitor has his number still with the way he’s been looking. But you never know he really wants that rematch. Maybe he’ll wait around for Vitor after him and Belcher go at it.

  • I would like too see him fight Sonnen if he sticks around 185….If you havent seen the UTUBE video of them riding together go find it. It’s classic Chael had already said some stuff about Brazil and Wandy lets him know how he feels it has a akward moment of silence from Chael in it when he realizes how much he has offended Wandy….

I love watching him fight. Win or lose- you know he always brings it!

I don’t want him fighting Chael. How about the winner of vitor-belcher Vs the winner of Chael-Evans to fight for the belt, while Weidman then GSP fights Anderson? Wandy can fight shields or Munoz.
