Wanderlei Silva Doesn’t Plan on Changing His Style For Anybody

Known throughout the sport as one of the most dangerous strikers ever, Wanderlei Silva may be a little bit older but he’s not going to be a little more cautious.

Wanderlei plans on an exciting fight with Chris Leben at UFC 132, and ‘boring’ is not a word that enters his vocabulary.

The ‘Axe Murderer’ did take some time this camp however to work on his wrestling, but he’ll never be the guy to take a fight to the ground just to grind out a victory. He’s going to be in Chris Leben’s face from the time the fight starts until the time the fight ends.

War Silva! I have to admit, I am a Leben fan as well. This is gonna be a banger.

Agreed, I hope the “Leben chin” can withstand a few long enough for that notorious left that Leben has. I actually call it a cinder block on the end of his arm! Love you Vandy, but gotta give it to the American scrapper!

you obviously are a noob or been away from keyboard when Wandy was in Pride.

Wandy was never a Mr. Nice Guy. He was always a thuggish I don’t give a fuck type of dude. Go ask any of the Pride veterans what they thought about Wandy back in Pride.

The new Mr. Nice Guy act he is trying to pull is for the US fans that are easy to manipulate.

Listening to wandy annoys me. Should be a good fight unless someone gets caught quickly.

Yes. Which reminds me of Randy.

“Coming into the Tim Sylvia fight I knew I had to stick and move, use my improved boxing skills, get clinch immediately, press him against the fence, do some dirty boxing, use my greco to secure a take-down, AND IMPOSE MY WILL ON HIM!! And my gameplan executed perfectly,” said Randy after the Sylvia fight.

“He has long arms. I JUST GOT CAUGHT. IT HAPPENS!” said Randy after the Brock fight.

    “I just got caught.”
“He was the better man tonight.”
    “It just happened.”
